The goal of this project is to solve the problem of black and odorous water in the Dongfeng Lake area, prevent direct discharge of sewage during the dry season, and reduce lake pollution caused by overflow during the rainy season. This project includes the Qingniandi Storage Tank Project and the Outlet Treatment Project.

Fuzhou Water System Comprehensive Treatment Project

This project is a water system management and comprehensive water environment improvement project for all rivers within the administrative divisions of Gulou District and Taijiang District in Fuzhou City. The renovation involves 28 river channels, as well as Zuohai and Xihu area, with a total length of about 52km. More than 100 new intercepting wells have been built. In the future, intelligent interception upgrade packages will be added to achieve 4G network intelligent water management.

Hefei Nanfei River Early Rainwater Interception and Storage Project

This project intercepts at the outfalls of Tangqiao, Hongqi, Zongyang Road, and Luxiaoying based on the current situation of the mainstream water environment of the Nanfei River in Yaohai District and the overflow pollution situation of the eight main pumping stations, including the Hongqi pumping station, and sends the initial rainwater to the storage station. The main task of this project is to control the initial rainwater pollution and reduce the pollution load of the Nanfei River main stream in Yaohai District.

Chizhou Sponge City Combined System Overflow Pollution Control Project

The project includes three storage ponds and their associated pipeline systems, with a total catchment area of 235.87ha. Among them, the 1# storage tank, with a design volume of 8064m3, has successfully applied water quality online treatment facilities, with a capacity of 4m3/s. In the selection of this project's plan, Guhong becomes the highest rated plan design unit, providing the main design and framework for this project.

In this project, sponge theory is applied to design, and through the combination of artificial reinforcement systems and natural ecosystems, the sponge facilities above ground and storage projects underground are implemented to effectively reduce the pollution of rainwater runoff, restore the benign hydrological cycle of the city, and reduce the damage to the natural balance of hydrology.

This is a smart sponge demonstration project of the Sino-German cooperation project KEYS. The overflow pollution control is carried out at the overflow end of the buried culvert of Yudai River, and the back flushing of stagnant water of the buried culvert is realized by using the water level difference between the open channel and the buried culvert.

This is a BMBF pilot project of comprehensive treatment of water pollution, which is jointly carried out by the German Ministry of Education, the Chinese Ministry of Environmental Protection, and the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology. It is also a demonstration project of pollution treatment in Taihu Lake basin. The project has comprehensively treated 11 combined sewage overflow outlets of the Huancheng River, retained and reformed 6 of them to guarantee flood control and drainage, and improve overflow pollution of the Huancheng River.

This is a pilot project for BMBF pipeline network node renovation, which is jointly carried out by the German Ministry of Education, the Chinese Ministry of Environmental Protection, and the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology and has achieved flushing of inverted siphon pipes. This project includes two sections of siphon with diameter of DN800, total length up to 265m, and slope of 0.08%.
